Hi can anyone give me some advice please. My son with whom I have no contact,is 16 years old I have found out he has moved out of home into a b&b.so I assume he is claiming income support. Am I right in thinking his mother is not eligible for maintenance payments via the csa? Or can she claim till September? Any ideas? Cheers

There are various cut off points during the year for CB I believe the next one is May.....until she is no longer claiming CB you will be asked to continue to pay, the CSA can do a CB check, ring them and tell them that you believe there is a change in circumstances ASAP0

If the child has left home to live on his own in a bedsit or b&b the parent will not be entitled to CB so you should notify a change of circumstances to CB and CSA as soon as possible.0
