Defaults and CCJ'S falling off make any difference to CRA score?

Hi guys.
Just wanted to know, my creditor defaults (marked as settled) and two CCJ's included in my BR are due to all fall off my credit files anytime now and I wondered if this will boost my credit worthiness?
I was declared BR in August 2009 and subsequntly given ED in July 2010.
All of my debts included in my BR show a "default date" of various months in 2007 so are now due to fall of due to the 6 year rule.
Also, two CCJ's relating to the above debts also started in early 2007 and are also due to fall off.
Now I know that BR makes a huge negative impact on your score/worthiness and, over time, becomes less of a black mark but will these defaults and CCJ's falling off have a positive impact for me at all???
I have cleaned up my files as you always should after BR and I have been running two credit cards and a full current account flawlessly for nearly two years now FYI.
So, will my score/worthiness improve or am I stuck on "poor rating" until the actual BR falls off?
Thanks in advance.

Yes, once those things fall off your credit file your credit should be restored for anyone searching your credit file. Things are slightly different for mortgages but for normal things like getting a loan, credit card or HP etc, should be fine.

Oh thats great news!
Finally starting to feel "normal" again after all these years!
I was hoping to get car finance (HP) in the next 6 months, nothing too expensive really, just something that will be more economical really.
I've heard HP is easier to get anyway due to it being a loan secured on the car which you do not own until the final payment is made.
Is there any truth to this??0 -
Any thoughts on my chances of getting HP with the above circumstances?0

Car finance is easier to obtain than a traditional unsecured loan:money:0
