I've just been to Argos in Alnwick and they have a sign saying this - the offer ends tomorrow. Any model of vacuum is accepted.

I'm not sure about this offer, the dyson hoover we bought from Argos 3 4 weeks ago for £240 would cost more with this offer than what we paid for it event with the 30% off!!

Same here Leanne200. I bought a new dyson about 4 weeks ago and last week I returned to the store to buy something else only to find the model I'd purchased was now a lot more expensive than what I'd paid. Even with the 30% off it still would have cost me more to buy than what I'd paid.

Looks like they increased the prices by more than 30% just as the offer started so they wouldnt loose out on anything.
  • not sure that is actually the case, i have been looking to get a DC41 Animal for several months and the price of that is less than it used to be. You must have bought yours on offer maybe?

I don't remember if ours was on offer personally, but regardless, if that is the case it's better to wait for an offer, get it cheaper and maybe give your old hoover to someone who needs it and will make good use of it.

We gave our Vax to my OH's sister who just got her own place and has a baby on the way :)
