Youngest was a bit teary at preschool, but seems willing to go again, so will persevere for now.

I managed to do some decluttering today - taking a car load to the tip which has created a bit more space in the garage - one day we might even be able to put a car in there!

A bit depressed about bring back at work tomorrow after 5 days off, but Monday nights are always the worst (my equivalent of Sunday night blues!). I'll feel better once I've been able to get stuck back in to what needs doing.

No chance to do the budget last night, as Mr Common brought home some work, but at least that means some extra money in the coffers!

I've had an awful week at work - I am seriously contemplating leaving for the sake of my sanity and health. At least the SOA showed that we can survive on Mr Common's salary alone. Not exactly an MSE conclusion though!

Just wanted to pop in and wish you all the best on your MFW journey .

My main motivator to becoming MF is that I would like to change jobs and if possible reduce my hours so that I can spend more time with the children as I work full-time (our children are similar ages: DS1 is almost 5 and DS2 is almost 2).

I hope things get better in your place of work or that you are able to change jobs to improve your health.

Um... I have kind of quit my job. Decided that my health is more important. I've got to work my notice, and will start to seek out some freelance work, but I already feel so much better.

It does mean that we will need to become much more MSE without the cushion of my steady salary - so my diary and reading all the wise advice on this site now becomes much more important.
