I have had a lovely day,weather was rather changing,first showers then sun came out and back to showers,hot,cold.

I enjoyed my walking group and went with a friend into town and had an extra walk then they drove me home

Had a nice lunch and a nice flapjack cake and then I did some ironing and then I went out to get some bread.

relaxing this evening!

Parents evening went ok. Son is looking forward to going up in September now he knows some of his friends are in his tutor group! All the new yr 7's get a free coat which I'm glad he chose as DD won't wear one for fear of being bullied!

Glad you're getting your decorating done fire**fly It's a good job my DH isn't a painter/decorator as he likes a cuppa every so often!

I have got a 'lucky' euro ticket too ILC! :T Good luck!

Just cooking me dinner now after having a very good clean of me house today.

Weather has been rain all day (though very mild conditions), so no gardening, but happy enough to sort indoors. (Well .... you know what I mean, as happy as you can get cleaning!!!!:eek: :rotfl::rotfl:)

Glad your son is looking forward to moving up wingo.

Just had a lovely meal at Bella Italia, using Tesco Tokens. Love the "Scouse" humour here although DH speaks to everyone in his old accent so I sometimes have bother understanding everything. Waiter apologised for the meal taking a while but said it was my fault for ordering a well done steak. :rotfl:

DH seems to have been watching wall to wall Game of Thrones at every opportunity while we have been here as they have then all recorded. It is driving me mad. Anyway off home tomorrow to get ready for Thursday's day trip. It's nice seeing family but even nicer to get back to your own bed.

firefly - glad the decorating is going well. My DH loves his tea as well he won't have it in anything but his pint mug.

Katie - sounds like you had a good time with your friends at walking group.

iluvcats - good luck with the euro lottery ticket, have a good scratch. I know what you mean about the Vimto comp, not sure how long it goes on but have never got to the end to enter and it sends you dizzy in the end it goes so fast. Is there an end? have you ever got to it??

Wingo - good luck with you lottery ticket as well and glad it went well for your son at the school. He will be OK once he is there. Its good that some of his friends are going too.

Alfie - it has been trying to rain and dull most of the day here as well. Its a shame you haven't been able to get out in the garden as its lovely to get out it cheers you up somehow doesn't it?

Steak was perfect thanks - had it with peppercorn sauce and lovely herby new potatoes. Had tiramisu for afters too!
Trying to work out what to do on the way home tomorrow as the forecast is pretty bad. DH wants to call in at Grange Over Sands and buy some of the wonderful pies from there so expect we will do that.
