Well done to your cousin Yorkshire :A how lovely xx

Yuk Sylvia! it must have wanted some fruit loaf! :p I buy fruit loaf from lidl btw, it's cheaper! ;)

Aargh Sheils, how did you manage to get some sleep after that! _pale_ My sis used to get massive spiders in Germany when she lived there. She woke up one night to get a drink of water at the side of her bed but thought it had fluff in the glass. Next morning when it was light she realised it was a big furry spider!

I've been watching Broadchurch. I'm really into it but it's dragging on a bit!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

The spider moved to DH and then back to me before we knew what it was. Then it must have decided to see if there was any vodka left in the glass beside my hotel bed and unfortunately for it I must have moved the glass when I was panicking as I found it dead under the glass in the morning!
    Didn't watch Broadchurch.

Sounds good for your job Euro - will still keep my fingers crossed for you.

Hope something better crops up for you Emmap.

Good Night Sylvia - I am just off too. See you all tomorrow. x

Thank you (and everyone else wishing me luck) :) xx

EmmaP, I hope the job situation improves for you too xx

Spiders are EVIL and I hates them!:mad:

Katie, I don't know the history, but I'm glad you're beginning to feel better. Long may it continue! :D

Congrats to your cousin OYL! Little girls seem to be more prevalent in our family - 5 nieces and 2 nephews so far - The eldest nephew was overjoyed when he learned that he was finally going to have another boy cousin, and then equally crushed when he realised he wasn't going to arrive as an 8 year old! :rotfl:

You have just earnt yourself a new job: Chief spider locator and deporter. :p

I can't go near them. Nor kill them (you'll be glad to hear). The most I've ever been able to do is place a large glass over them and stare at them from across the room until someone else comes home and can release them into the wild. lol

The big, slow moving ones are alright so long as they just stay in their corner. That's a kind of deal I can cope with: this is your space, this is my space - seriously, stay in your space. lol

But the fast moving ones make me scream and run. I'm such a scaredy cat!
