Lol, naughty cats! My neighbours cats are always doing that right outside my window! Had to laugh at the magpies in my garden the other day, they were on garage roof and jasper was running up & down garden desperate to get to them and the magpies were copying him running up and down the garage roof tormenting him because they must have known he couldn't get them!

Good Morning,

Sun really strong here this morning just hope the good weather lasts until Sunday. We have decided to try and walk around Ennerdale Water on Sunday so really looking forward to it. It looks like it is under 7 miles and not too difficult terrain. (famous last words)

Amused at the idea of you going out throwing water over the cats FF.
We saw two blackbirds fighting the other day and one had the other by the throat with its beak. Never seen that before - managed to distract them and the losing one flew off.

always thrown water at them to part them :eek:
does the trick hate seeing them scrapping it out :eek:

The sun's doing it's best but not really bright at the moment. Shame as it was really lovely earlier.

Can just imagine you running out with your pan of water fire**fly. That'll teach 'em for fighting

I've not seen blackbirds fight either Sheils, thank goodness. I love blackbirds, even when I was woken up before 4 the other morning with one singing :eek:
It's usually the pheasants here that fight. Only in springtime when the females are interested in them. The rest of the time they get on fine. More than once I've run out clapping my hands and shouting to split them up as they can get really nasty with each other. We've got two who regularly visit as DH puts seed under the bird feeders for them. I used to feel sorry for one of them as one used to visit with his harem and the other who had obviously come off worse of the fighting used to come on his own with a limp and without his tail feathers

Laughed at the magpies and Jasper Wingo. Really glad he's okay now. Poor Winnie cat was lying out the front the other day and being bombarded by the swallows. It happens every year. She puts up with it for a while, just ducking her head when they swoop down, then gets fed up and comes back inside. She's really scared of them

Good morning everyone. Its lovely and sunny here today so hopefully get the washing dried/lawns mowed/plants in the ground. Don't have to have the GK's today after all as DD has an early exam (her last one) and her DH is feeling better today.

Hope you weather is as lovely for you peeps as well. The walk on Sunday sounds lovely Sheils.
