morning all :wave:
cat nearly caught the squirrel this morning :eek:
was inches away from it when squidgy turned round & flew
past cat :rotfl:
never seen anything so funny for ages :rotfl:
cat jumped up & ran after it but wasn't quick enough &
magpies decided to join in the fun & started swooping down at the cat,
it was like a madhouse out here :rotfl:
hope it's peaceful where you are :eek::D

Lol! Sounds like fun and games where you are fire**fly! cats can be such teasers!
The ferret that was found in mums garden last week turned out to be my sisters neighbours! She only found out it was his yesterday! My sis lives opposite mum.

Hope your DD gets to work today Sheils. I used to look forward to my weekend job when I was at school

Had another headache last night so went to bed before it was a migraine.
Taking girls to gym then sort the house out when I get back! Aaah Sunday's....a day of rest!

SM - thanks so much for the link to the Times comp. Was frantically looking for it at 9.55 as got up late and thought it might be on here.



Egg timer at the ready, having salmon/jacket/salad tonight so that will be easy enough to do.

Ellemm - well done on your DH with the lottery win, as Sheils says I hope he shares it with you.

Euro - My OH is worse than me for comping and talks about it more than me too. (and does more than me lol)

iluvcats - lovely ice cream pic this morning, my favorite by far, especially with chocolate sauce, don't like the red sauce at all. (more, more)

Firefly - your poor squidgy - naughty cats.

Sheils - hope your DD gets to work today, just a shame there are no buses on a Sunday where you are. How are peeps supposed to get to work as not everyone has a car? what happens if you are away is there anyone else to take her?

Must get on as its time for the next Times comp and I very nearly missed the first one. Must get my act together now as really would like to win one for my DD who is at uni.

OMG - I hadn't ought to be allowed on this forum, what an idiot I am. I just jumped to the post as I was desperate to do the comp before 10. I have deleted the message and just posted, sorry wrong place, hope thats the right thing to do/

We have all posted in the wrong place at some time or other Sylvia!
It is amazing that DD can get a bus to her work at all in this area. She isn't needed today either so is quite upset. The girl she is working with has been there for over a year and is keeping all the shifts although really they were supposed to do day about but nothing she can do as the girl told her about the job anyway and was doing every weekend before. Don't suppose they will be busy again until the May bank holidays now. Wish she could get a job in the town anyway. She was supposed to get one in a cafe and then the girl didn't leave after all.

Salmon sounds good FF - will have to go and buy something for dinner.

posted IW on main board a few times & even posted in the arms on a chat thread a comp :eek::rotfl::rotfl:

Managed to get my lunch shopping done for my week of work, eyebrows waxed and travel card bought then home in time to catch the next hourly! Who says I plan my life around comping

Think we all do to a certain extent lol. Family coming soon but as the DD coming is the one that wants me to win it for her she will probably be reminding me to do it.

so sorry Sheils that you DD hasn't got work again today, lets hope that something more local turns up for her soon.
