Lovely weather this morning, it was 20 degrees
The boot sale was awful with no purchases but the garage sales were good and it took 2 hours to look around. Didn't buy much but got the first four Twilight DVDs for £1.50 in total and a new deodorant for 30p (usually £2). My friend got a new (with tags) pair of trousers for 50p and James Corden's autobiography for 20p0 -
Good morning every one, late up again, will have to change my bad habit of sleeping in.
Sheils - I do hope that your DS gets news about his wallet. Has he rung the venue to see if it has been handed in? How will he manage without his cards? Glad he had a good time anyway it does good to let your hair down when you work hard.
Wingo - love the kite pic and hope you manage to dry the washing.
Firefly - thanks for the link to the Times comp, love the today's egg timer too.
Paadzer - hope the boot sale goes well.
iluvcats - hope your stomach survives the doggy chicken, you really need to be careful.
Didn't do yesterdays Times comp as sold our bikes last year but will do today's as wouldn't mind Sky for a year.
SYLBIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Had a nice walk down by the harbour and marina. It is warm here although the sun hasn't really come out yet.
DS2 has located his wallet - just round the corner at the best mans mothers house! That is a relief.
Had an email from DS1 who has just ran his first half marathon in Sydney. He is really chuffed as he ran it in under 90 mins and was 518th out of 10,468. He was aiming for 120 mins.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Afternoon everyone, late on here today as woke up to power cut  which lasted 6 hours, was getting very twitchy with no internet/comps :rotfl:and even worse had to have iced coffee instead of my usual 2 mugs. (Power cuts do happen here randomly)
Very warm again today, not quite like yesterday which was 34 degrees, planning a swim shortly to cool off a bit.
Best catch up on some comps then and all the news in the Inn0 -

Yesterday I heard two young boys sing and they were good, then yesterday afternoon around 4pm I went to an Elvis Tribute and that was greatI danced to Bonnie Tyler Holding out for a hero on Stage, then I went on stage again and sang Love Me Tender
I got a standing ovation and everyone clapped.I then went to a club as well and finally got home 9.30pm and watched Eurovision, saw all the countries voting
then saw who won and finally went to bed.
Have a lovely afternoon!
love and light,
