edited 1 April 2013 at 8:22AM in It's gone, but was it any good?
Walked past a store on Sunday and there were 50% off signs in the window so I presume it starts on Monday morning, most stores are open at 10:30am.

UPDATE: Sale now online!! As of 8am.

The one I want is out of stock online :(

Nearest store is in centre of Brighton and therefore a nightmare to get to plus I've got ill kids. Boo. No egg for me this year then.

I also think that it will start in the morning online, it started at midnight last year, but hasn't started yet. When it does, the link is below:

They look amazing but even on 50% off is still expensive. It's just shaped chocolate and Easter spirit is gone

Agree - and then there's the £4.95 P&P to add if you're not lucky enough to be able to visit a branch.

Or use the free delivery code from here, states valid til 7th April (it's the Valentines Day one), worked for me yesterday, not sure there is much left though.

Oh dear, has now expired then. That site is good for codes though.
  • Free delivery codes (tried both) not working for me.

Hotel Chocolat is never cheap - its an expensive treat item. The half price extra thick dark chocolate eggs are amazing.
Had one for Easter and back to back with Green and Blacks egg made the G&B one taste like Tesco value chocolate - it was that much difference!

I got 2 Extra Thick eggs. Whilst the photos make them look 2cm thick, they're actually really thin in most parts, just 2cm around the edges. In most parts they're 3mm thick, as opposed to 1mm thick normal easter eggs, so whilst they're thicker, aren't as thick as you'd think them to be!

Still amazing chocolate though, there was a queue outside my HC around 10 minutes before opening!
