Need mortgage advice

We have complicated situation and need mortgage advice...do I need a mortgage advisor and how do I find one that can help us

    Given your previous posts about the nature of your family's income, yes I think that an advisor would be a good idea. Otherwise you end up making random applications to various institutions, without any way of knowing in advance whether they are likely to entertain your particular mix of income, and damaging your credit report with every separate search / application.

    Ask around for recommendations. Or go onto unbiased.co.uk and search in your area. I think you need to untick something so that you get all advisors rather than just those with paid-for adverts, but I'm not sufficiently familiar with the site to know what that is.

    Which adviced me that the 3 best places to try are natwest who we are with now, Halifax and Santander. I rang natwest and it was better news than expected.
