No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in April

I am trying to use up all my scrubs and then use a body brush and scrubby gloves.
This is what I have done. Resisted the urge to buy anymore body scrubs and found a pair of exfoliating gloves I bought ages ago from primarni for £1.
They might not last ages but will probably work out cheaper than body scrubs especially as I like the S&G ones.April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£1500 -
I concur! I have exams on Friday next week and Tuesday the week after, and it's soooo tempting to do anything but study! :rotfl:
It's grim isn't it?!
I am in revision HELL. My exams on Tuesday so I can't put off studying any longer
All the very best to you for your two exams!
A couple of UU:
1. Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado 14g - WNBA, this is raved about by bloggers, but not so much for me.
2. Di Palomo Wild Fig & Grape Handcream 75ml - I actually first received a sample of this with a feel unique beauty box (did anyone get those too?!) over a year ago. The scent and consistency was so lovely. I decided to purchase it a few months back in full size... the only thing is that the scent (although lovely) really reminds of that time in my life everytime I use it, and makes me cringe a little! Lovely handcream but kinda strangely glad it's finished and WNBA, lol
Have a lovely weekend Ladies!

Hi everyone. Just checking in. Work has been hectic as per usual. Have a couple of UUs:-
Sample of DKNY Golden Delicious fragrance. It's lovely and I've owned it before. WBA.
Small bottle of Aussie conditioner. WBA. Have a stash of shampoo/conditioner at the mo though.
Have a few things that are spluttering:
LE handwash at work. Will replace this tomorrow when I go to Trafford Centre.
L'occitane shea butter hand cream. Have others to replace this with.
Elemis Quartz face mask. Then I will be opening my Decleor Herbal Clay Mask.
Hope everyone is well. Take care. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hi everyone, Hope everyone is well having a nice weekend
it'sjust started raining here
I will report a UU that will be gone this evening - Boots sleep easy with lavendar hand cream, use it last thing at night. WBA
Off topic I know but my mobile telephone has somehow ended up on a loan company's telephone list and the past 3 days I have being inundated at all times of the day and night about this loan. It's constant but all from different numbers and with an iphone you can't block calls (or can you?)
They are not even addressed to me, but I woke up with one last night that arrived at midnight, and again this morning at 7am.
Does anyone know how to get them to stop? The texts do say at the end send stop to stop the messages but my understanding is that this confirms the numbr is active and they inundate you even more so :mad:Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time0 -
So...I have a few used up from this week and no INs which is amazing as I stayed in a hotel and didn't bring anything back. :T
19 - Clinique clarifying lotion no. 2. This used be a HG for me, but recently it's started to dry me out or make me sensitive. I've used up this one and have another in stash that I'll sell.
20/21 - L'Occitane precious cream sample sachets. Lovely stuff.
22 - L'Occitane cherry princess hand cream. Lovely and light, but I have loads in stash.
23 - Lush sugar scrub. very scrubby, yes, but rather too scrubby and left scratches all over me like I'd wrestled a cat. WNBA :rotfl:
24 - Lush dreamtime bath melt. Bloody gorgeous! Soft scent of chamomile and lavendar and no need to moisturise after my bath. WBA.
25 - L'Occitane almond shower oil. I don't have as shower so I used this in the bath. Lovely lovely stuff. WBA.
26 - L'Occitane pivone flora shower gel. Again, used in the bath. Nice but not special.
Phew. Nice little lot there.
Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

I knew there was something I had forgotten earlier: morrocan argan oil soap for body and hair - sulfate free. WNBA as it made my hair feel plastic, it was fine as a soap, but there are nicer soaps that cost less out there. Plus I still have 3 shower gels and 4 bars of soap to get through!0

Hello!
A UU from me.....
Siege Hair brush cleaner 236ml - WNBA, got this from Lakeland years back, works but I use a tangle teezer now which doesn't need cleaning with anything other than water. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

UU - 150 ml XXL size Avon Foot Works Beautiful Glycerine & Cocoa Butter Intensive Moisturising foot cream. (phew!)
WIBA? Hmmm, probably. I started off by not liking this as it seemed rather ordinary and a bit difficult to rub in, but it worked really well in moisturising a patch of hard skin on my heel. It was certainly more effective than any of the Avon foot creams I've used thus far.
I have a specialist heel cream from the same range (but 75ml size) to use up next.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Had a few inadvertent GA's today, told MIL if there was anything in my (to use up basket/bits and pieces from beauty boxes/random nail polishes) basket that took her fancy then to help herself.............she took everything! There was about 10 polishes, Johnson's holiday skin, Bodywash, nivea wipes, and about 5 other fullsize items and some samples - I'll have to look through my list to remember! Oh well, I guess it's better to get rid of them if I wasnt really going to use them but everything except the polishes was brand new so it was quite an expensive error - my fault totally but it didnt even cross my mind she'd take every single thing!
I have a few bits finishing on Ebay tomorrow but will declare them once paid for as you never know.
Ins:
Eve Lom Rescue Mask - been on my to try list for awhile
PS Argan Oil - freebie from mag
Hope everyone's having a nice weekend, I grabbed 30 mins earlier on to pop on a face mask - Elemis Papaya enzyme peel. It smells lovely and my skin looked good after but it doesnt really feel like it's 'doing' anything. Might try and see if I can sell it on Ebay and use the money to treat myself to another REN glycolactic mask as love that so much! xNo buying un-necessary toiletries challenge - Start total: 235.
