900,000 people have decided that they are well enough to work after all now they face being properly tested to see whether or not they can work.
Included in the 900,000 were 30 people with blisters and 60 with acne apparently!

It's a miracle I tell you, a miracle. Almost a million people are suddenly well. Beatification and canonization are surely not far away. You normally only need 1 miracle to be beatified, 2 to be a saint.

Why should the state care? There are plenty of low paid service sector jobs out there. Time for them to wake up and get a job
Oh they shouldnt, but these people will probably just move from incapacity benefit to job seekers, although i think jsa is considerably less than what they would have got0 -

Quite probably and it is appalling that Labour did not act. However we also shouldn't lose sight of the fact that the Conservatives massively increased access to benefits to hide the number of long term unemployed, therefore there has always been a blurring of who is fit to work. That's what they massaged in order to trot out their "Labour Isn't Working" mantra. Neither side is exactly covered in glory over this one. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? At least the conservatives didn't use taxpayer money to bribe voters through turning a blind eye in the worst offending constituencies.0

Quote you are right they are just shedding voters, even TWH, the few they are winning over are at the top of the a very narrow triangle."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

Most of the low paid "public" sector jobs are now in the private sector.
Most councils are shedding staff no employing them.
Whether they are on JSA/DLA or whatever they still need to be housed, kids fed etc.etc."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....
