Popping off for an hour back to Ancestry, decided to cancel membership tomorrow now. That should give me enough time to garner sufficient info to work on over the summer, then renew membership in October
Sorry, I'm an occasional contributor but so stressed at work that I've turned into a lurker. I chilled out a whole w/e with Ancestry! Then did what you did and cancelled membership. Be aware that Family Tree Maker software includes limited membership and it night be cheaper to buy an old version from Amazon than to renew membership. Just check it does what you need it to do.0 -

V annoyed now.
Am trying to send a book to Ireland, a bit of a shock when I weighed it this morning as it was 269g and the postage according to the Royal Mail calculater was £4.95
So by playing with the calculator I worked out that if I got it to 250g then it would be £3.50 :T a good saving so I just had to loose 19g from somewhere.
So I opened the package and cut down the invoice to just a slip and then weighed the book just as it was, no packing
257g - so still 7g too heavy
(No don't even suggest it, it's a brand new book so I can't loose the fly pages at the front and back and cut off the covers :rotfl: )“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
