I have tried a few receipes but I think lemon jucie in the sugar syrup really adds flavour. Most important DO NOT add vodka mix to sugar syrup until it is cool of vodka evapourates.
Can use juice from original lemons if you want to keep it in fridge for 2 weeks but I just have a cycle going. Can leave in vodka for a lot longer than 2 weeks if timing is not right and the lemon vodka is a nice shot on its own.
Got me thinking of vanilla but think black cherries next. Can we have the low down on tinned black cherries please savvybunny?

"Sorry" (in a way) for disappearing away again for the last 30 minutes and working on finalising my post - pleased to say it's now ready (back on page 40).

I can imagine how weird they'd think I am!!!

This post itself now TBC - although not nearly as much as the last - as it's more difficult to get the threads to quote more than one quote - back in a sec...

Cherries might be good or whatever I get at whoopsies in quantity. As for the lemons we've got so many that I can just throw away the peeled lemons and use new ones for the juice. Seems a bit of a waste but I guess we could use the juice for some proper lemonade.

and SD hows your day been ?

Trying to catch up but know it won't happen tonight
My days been ok but feeling really carpy.

2 years ago today at 8ish tonight I got the phone call that would change my life forever:(.
My mum tried to call me but I was working and didn't manage to answer so rang her back just before 8. Apparently DH had been trying to ring me but couldn't get through and had rang her. When I finally got through to her she explained that DH wasn't very well but they'd called an ambulance. While on the phone to her they'd arrived and I heard the most blood curdling scream coming from my mum, I had to get home and was almost there.
Sorry, I'll stop there TMI. I never made it in time :(

It's so strange that I can remember almost every detail of that day but can't remember what I did yesterday or what I have to do tomorrow without having it written down.

My heart aches every day, I feel like I don't want to (I don't know what to put here, maybe go on, feel like this, do anything. I don't know what I don't want)

I know I need sleep so good night x
