I get a bit concerned that some people are counting the APG value twice - they do the shop and say what they spent in hard cash but say it generated an APG for say £5 and take that off, then use that £5 on the next shop and take that and the generated APG off.... ie counting APG's twice? Or have I misunderstood?

I have thought this often. I often see people posting, paid xxx after a xx APG, got another APG for xxx and so on. You are right, you can't spend it twice. I only count it once....when I redeem it. It's a good point to make

If this glitch lasts, I really must look more into it so I can but something else apart from cheese and pots, as curry potatos with melted cheese on top can only sustain its appeal for so long I expect.

I think the good thing about MSE is that you can eat like a king and still have money to spare on the luxuries in life.:)

Last month we spent a total of £55 on food. I used to spend £120 a week when both DD and DS were living at home 4 years ago:)

you mis understood, if i had counted the value of the used apg (which is why i did not print value) i would only have paid £16-£12= £4- £9.60 = -£5.60
so each rice would have paid me 35p
so no i did not count apg twice. but i know what you mean as i see peeps do it all the time:)
