  • Afternoon all, not been on for a long while (I had only been on briefly during the milk tray shop) but have been looking in more recently. Was carer to my mum and brother but sadly both passed away 8 weeks apart. Just getting my self together now.

No cheese at Bridge of Dee last night but yesterday afternoon
I did find cheese at the beach. Hope this helps. Many thanks to the Cheese/Pies/Biscuits ops as I have managed to share the goodies between family.

Thinking of all who are going through it just now. Take care. xx

Sorry to hear your sad news x

The reason you can't see them is because you are looking for giant ones. These are the size of a two pence piece! It took me months to hunt these little blighters down!

I only found them thanks to a lurker/hduker- I was standing by the 3/£1 sweets and she came long and grabbed one each of the flumps, mouse and the other one. She was on a proper mission :rotfl:

In my store, the flumps et al are on the shelf next to the 3/£1 sweets

My sister had her house insurance cancelled without her realising it.She complained and got £50 compensation.

He offered me three months free premiums....I pointed out I don't pay monthly and I was glad he had looked at my account so closely :mad: :rotfl:

....but I said that's not far off £150 and will do very nicely in a cheque, thank you very much :D

No worries. I just got back from CC, not a lot of cheese left,
    Or meatballs, or digestives. :D

I'm going on holiday in 2 weeks and 3 days. I do not need cheese meatballs or biscuits :o or chocolate, crisps or cake :rotfl:

Or food in general it would seem :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thank you, he does love the cake :D Have not cut it yet, want to make sure my sis sees it first. He has been spoilt and has spent the morning with my Mum playing with all of his new toys having a great time :)

Afraid i'm on quite a downer though :( Went to hospital for chemo. Was all :j:j:j about it being last one, took card and chocs/hand cream for staff. But blood count was so low that consultant said I couldn't have chemo and have to go back next week. Immediately burst into tears and have been up and down since. Just feels like the goal posts have been moved bth_Smiley-Crying.gif Means as well that i'm basically stuck at home now for a fortnight instead of a week. Guess it's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but i'm having an 'it's not fair' paddy about it :o

Anyway, best get off here and have a play with the boy :p Catch up later when hopefully i'll have pulled myself together :)

Awww! It was the being all hyped up about it ending:(

Hope you are feeling better now, I'm so glad your son loved the cake, you did really well with it x

I would be embarrassed to just buy, 1 carrot, 1 spud, 1 mushroom.

I buy one carrot, parsnip and one onion and one banana but people don't put one mushroom or one grape do they:). My thinking is if any nosy till person says anything I'd say they were for an elderly person/relative as they want to make a small stew lol not that it's any of their business

Anyone know if Diet Pepsi should work instead of Max?

I'll give a go anyway if no one knows.

    Thanks.
