If only we could crack this we would be onto a winner (as indeed would As/MSM, as no doubt they are perplexed why it keeps happening and if we look too hard we may find their solution - bring back the Ambrosia glitch please!). However, the 9pm to 3am missing multis cannot completely explain this, as someone presented a womble APG result showing the cheese which I think pre-dates that, some of the glitches are not current multis but seem to be old prices that have come back into the system ... and it worked all Saturday and Sunday which is longer than 6 hours
.
There seems to be a time lag between price data being updated on T/S/M, this being reflected on MSM, and that then feeding through to the APG. They claim to do an overnight update, but our recent experiences of missing multis shows that this can happen at any time of day or night, and the outcome of this isn't always consistent (sometimes it causes a glitch, sometimes it resolves a glitch, and sometimes it works as they intend - and in some instances we want - with prices matching all round!).
As it is computer based there has to be logic in there somewhere (even when it glitches) ... but I haven't a clue what the logic may be.

Hi there - I'm still catching up, but thought I'd put this out first thing (and then read through any responses once I reach them tonight) - as you're aware, tomorrow is M price check night - and with all the glitching it's going to be a long (and careful) one! - has anyone got a list of items (they'll need to be exact) that are glitching (so I can see if vs M, exc-NI, might be better) except for rootednomad's Simple and Garniers that I have already caught a glance of - and will read fully when I've caught up. Also anything that's on multibuy in A, that you want to draw my attention to, to see if there's a good price vs M? (That may be on full price in T, S and W.) I'll pick up offers and multibuys at M in the check tomorrow but won't be able to pick up the Sada multibuys there (some of which may not be on MSM and hence might be less easy to spot). I'll check the items in the 3 for £6 offer that I find on a.com and see what Morries price on them is tomorrow (where M sell it instore). Many thanks.
As for the above quote that I've dug out, from shortly after I left a couple of nights ago, the 9pm as the start only refers to the time it was noticed on MSM - the multibuys could have been missing from MSM before it was noticed, and thus more than 6 hours. The 3am is really approximate. As for logic, I will try to tune myself into whatever logic it is and try to identify it! See you later (catching up now).0 -
Hey big dot..:wave::wave:
I went to Legoland yesterday and saw an amazing model of a wizard. If I had been any normal dad I might have tried to explain all about magic to my lovely young children, however, being Shortfatscotsbloke in my other life, all I could think of was your poxty avatar!!:rotfl:
Is it beer o'clock yet??;)0 -
