Results are in from this morning's shop. As you know I do things a little differently sometimes. No cheese, as no-one in my family likes cheddar cheese - even after being informed that it worked out at 20p per block, they still want the Cheshire - which they'll doubtless ask for again (at £1.50 each) when it next runs out.

There seems to be something going on with the Heinz Chicken - despite being on '5 for £3' in A, it looks like the total non-multibuy pricing is comparing vs S, even though A's price is also in red. Not sure if any other flavours compare the same way - I thought about getting 5 chicken (A's multibuy) and one other (vs S's '6 for £4.00') and about whether the one other could be a variety N/A at S (indeed if S have any variety they don't stock but A does) but then thought we'd still need sixes to compare better against S?

Really good strong scourers comparing vs S on a lower grade type.

I went to one of the supermarkets (as opposed to the superstores) for this shop - surprised at how much range they still had. Managed to find the 500g Baby Powder that I couldn't find in either of the superstores near me.

    Why £5.20?

10 for £4 at tescos so i think it would be £5.72(A) against £4 (t)
    so 5.72 less 4.00 = 1.72
    4 less 10% less 1.72 i make £1.88 for the 10
