Wih this being MSE and us all being as skint as church mice, can I add that if we don't have money to spare for hardware we can all use online backup servuices,.
Free ones like Dropbox still work on my 11-year-old mac. 2Gb with that one very easy to use.
10 Gb with Mediafire. but a more generous one is Adrive with 50 gb but (slightly) more fiddly to use and there's loads of others. Just make sure you don't trust all your backups to one of these companies as you never know.....

Im sure this is a great post but its way over my head.I must learn more about computers. My boys are getting older and im so behind the times with this stuff.

I also noticed some of these style tills last week but cant for the life of me remember where they were now.
Similar to SS tills but manned by a trout.... STANDING UP! no chair on these tills.

Dunno about tescos but I know Asda are planing to introduce hybrid checkouts in alot of stores, similar to self scan but they will have swivel screens so when the store is busy they can turn them into a manned till
