    Some advice please.
I need to get one of the big bales of potting compost to start some seeds off. I usually get one of the biggest ones from b and q - think its something like 120 litres or such like - are these the best value.
I am so desperate to get some seeds started
If I need to get anything from b and q I usually got to sainsbobs first and get a gift card with my nectar points.
(Sadly I know nobody with an over 60s b and q card)
Now I am wondering if I go through topcash and order from b and q, collect in store but pay using the b and q gift card - is that possible?

I've also got love2 vouchers which I think you can use in homebase - is this right? I am wondering how much their bales are compared to b and q ? Our homebase is next to a waitrose so its a good excuse to pop in there as well.

We have close by Wilkinsons, B and M, Aldi and the full range of supermarkets to choose from.

My OH says why don't I just go and buy what I need like a normal person and I say there is always a deal to be had!

Today we've bought topsoil from aldi, compost from homebase and ericaceous compost from b&q.

B&q compost isn't very good, tends to be quite woody

    Xmas Saver!
Re the online £2 code off finest - if I place an order now for collection on Monday (all slots gone for tomorrow) will the £2 be added back to the cost of my order as its only valid until 7th....does anyone know, ta?

I'm planning on doing a few ;) orders each totalling approx 10p-20p after the discount, should raise a few eyebrows at the collection point  Actually they'll probably remember me from my previous 'ham and freddo' order, that raised a few titters at the time :rotfl:

Thanks to RootedNomad for this one :T

Oh, also thanks BusyLizzie for the betbutler free £5 Grand National bet :T
