    Morning all :)

Another frosty start to the day - I don't mind as I haven't had to start cutting the grass yet :j

Seems Bub was popular - i'll see if I can find the pic, I may have deleted it.......
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

  • SDB: Great idea - I suggest we fix a time when people can have second bite at the cherry, maybe 2 hours before the race?

    Okay, sweepstake on the national..
There are 40 horses at the moment, all of these horses have been numbered randomly by myself, and the list sent to another forum member to scrutinise.
What happens is you pledge a pound (or more) and the 'owner' of the winning horse chooses a charity for the donations to be paid too. You then pay your 'stake' to that charity through the just giving website, I will give the link after the race, for the charity has been chosen. If this all goes tits up, please dont blame me, it is late
If you want to pledge, copy and paste the list, and add your name and these instructions please.

    Morning everyone :)

The online Finest code works irrespective of spend - looks like you just need at least one Finest item in the basket. So if you buy eg these for 34p

    909%5C5052320715909%5CIDShot_225x225.jpg

    or this for 46p

    709%5C5052319960709%5CIDShot_225x225.jpg:p

then you get the rest as money off your other shopping

Click and collect free atm :)

code posted by edindevon here - thanks

It also comes off if you order a finest item but they don't have it and no substitute either. Helped towards the cost of delivery

Good morning all. :) I haven't had chance to catch up over the last day or so, so I hope everyone is doing ok and finding lots of lovely bargains.

A question - is it normal to dream about other members of the Elite? I dreamed last night that I was sitting in frequent's kitchen having lunch ( I have no idea if it's even possible to eat in frequent's kitchen :D) and we were having a lovely time. Based on my only other experience of an Elite lunch, I'm sure that would be true.

One or two useful comparisons from a T v A shop yesterday for those with PPs burning a hole in their pockets

    1x
    NESCAFE GOLD BLEND COFFEE 200G
    - £5.00 £4.00
    1x
    MARMITE YEAST EXTRACT 250G
    - £2.69 £2.00 1x
    CATHEDRAL CITY MATURE 2 X 350G
    - £6.55 £5.00

Have a lovely day everybody whatever you are up to. I've got a wedding to conduct, then I shall spend the rest of the day celebrating my own 22nd wedding anniversary with Mr Lutzi, who is actually in the country for once :blushing: I've placed a bet on Join Together for the Grand National ;). (Edit, not in the forum sweepstake to avoid confusion)

Let's be careful out there peeps. Back off to catch up a bit.
    Hope is not a strategy.
