All the family home for Easter. just cooking a lovely DTD joint of Lamb and a pice of Sirloin I got reduced from £13.10 to £1.31 a couple of weeks ago. The Lamb was £8.71 and i got £5.90 dtd on it. However it was not enough to feed 5 of us so I added the lamb. Served with Polenta roasted spuds, mixed veg and cauliflower cheese and green beans.
As DD has been unwell was unable to get to Asda for cheap eggs so my grown up kids asked for eggs last night so they had to have Double Decker ones from Mr t and I got one for DD's bf who is here. 3 FOR £10.00 AND I paid with a Price Promise for £10.00 I got with wine and Finest meals.

Rose, do you live near me (south central)? My Mr T had the DD eggs and nothing else left yesterday. Does nobody like DDs anymore?

At 93, Mam has had a good innings considering the fact that she has been in and out of hospital most of her life. She was born 5th Sept 1919, the smaller of twins. At less than 2lb weight, she survived whereas her bigger brother died at birth. So she was a fighter from the start it seems. She had TB when 16 or 18 and has always had a very weak chest, which she passed on to my sister and I in our asthma. I can always remember her having to go into hospital regularly over the years for her asthma. Later she developed angina too, and she had very bad arthritis with her hands and feet badly twisted and painful. But there you are, she got to 93 and it was only in the last 4 or 5 years that the dementia got to her and she was only diagnosed with altziemers 3 1/2 years ago, so she was able to see and enjoy her great-granddaughters grow up to age 7 & 11. And she did so love to see them :j Greatest loss was the death of her only grandson when he was only 21, knocked down and killed by a train, 18 years ago next week, so she doted on her only granddaughter, and, as I said, her two girls. The joy of her life and what kept her going, we think. They will miss her dreadfully and it will be hard as they lost their other great-grandma 15 months ago to cancer, their Uncle Alan Mr 3Dogs last year and now this, poor girls, but they now understand the cycle of life and death

I will take it easy today, have lunch here as Andy is doing a lovely roast beef dinner (free DTD beef from Tosco of course) and drive home later, about tea-time. Then drive up North tomorrow. I know there is no rush now, but my sister needs me and I will be there for her, and my brother too

I'm a bit up and down today. Thinking that by the end of the week I'll have completed the dreaded first week of my cycle, hopefully, for the last time :j The end is so near now. Started to get this nagging fear though for my end of chemo scan, not helped by the fact that mum yesterday ran into an old friend whose son, 5 years younger than me is now terminal
Must stay positive but struggle at times. Thankfully, physically I am feeling much better, mouth all but cleared up. Can do this...:D without hurting, and importantly eat chocolate eggs

I just been trying to do an order for my mum, won't accept the code for free delivery - in fact put the code in and it ups the price by 14 quid:eek:
She also had a 5 off voucher, but it does the same if I try to use that code instead - so just spent a frustrating 20 minutes trying to sort it out and gave up:o

Got a £5 h/h from Express today & £2 off £10 valid only in Express ( T own beer is on 2 for £4 so 6 for £12 - £2 h/h = 24 cans for £10.

Also has anyone received their E45 from Bzz yet? Not had mine its my first with Bzz too. Recently had cistern blocks and girls briefs from Tesco Home Pannels althou my DD age 3 loved her new pants she kept asking where the picture was lol.

I had a despatch email from them but it hasn't arrived yet. Usually have to wait a couple of weeks for Bzzkit to arrive after accepting campaign invite. I've just had my first trial from Tesco Home Panels and was amazed how quickly the parcel arrived compared to BzzAgent.
