Im so glad your Easter turned out so well Rysonbach. Your children sound way too grounded to be bothered by a little thing like no Easter eggs. For what it's worth, I got some reduced Easter yesterday and youngest ate a whole one today and is currently bouncing off all the walls:eek:.....I told him not to eat it all. I feel like pegging him out on the line.

The same child though is also absolutely delighted with his £12 bike. Between me and you and everyone else here the chances of him ever being able to ride it properly are very slim at best. His balance, co-ordination and lack of motor skills means it'll probably always need two of us to help him on it. BUT he has a bike like everyone else now and is happy as a pig in poo.....made me cry:o

    Oh FC.

Yes he has a bike just like everyone else. Such a great feeling for him:) I would love to have seen his face when he saw it.
What a wonderful mother you are:):)

evening everyone hope your all well and enjoying your vodka and wine teetotal household here so none needed..

no easter eggs was not a problem no one cared at all, we did make big easter cake for us and dd family with home made eggs chocolate branches and marzipan chicks lots of fun and tasted great:j
on monday got one of the £12 boys bikes never thought i had got one as no confirmation but got a phone call saying in store ds2 suggested not keeping it for ds3 birthday as that is december if i gave it for easter he would have a whole summer of fun and he has been so good with his hospital apointments i was touched by his thoughtfulness and ds3 was so thrilled, never had a new bike has not been of it since told me i was the best mum ever:j:j
told ds2 he could have a pressie to , he chose a £3 dvd said he could have something else but did not want anything
also dd turned up monday with easter eggs for everyone she gave them to me and said to pretend i had got them which i refused so she gave them out so they got eggs eventually

but it did make me realise how lucky i really am to have such a wonderful family and that it is so easy to dwell on the bad stuff and not realise what you really have,,

yes huni you have a lovely family - you have done a fabulous job :A:T

my OH was looking at making some sort of stabilisers...he reckons he could knock something together but getting the co-ordination going on the pedals might be a problem :o to be honest he's been happy just being wheeled up and down the drive by us on it for now....:o
Cable tie his feet to the pedals ;)
Failing that spend some money and buy a similar thing where he pushes foot in well its like a sleeve :o
Have not got time to search but you will find them ;)

For those interested in Vodka, if you bought any today, it is worth checking tomorrow, as even if the price has gone back up, the SEL may not have been changed, DTD- nearly free Vodka!

Thats strange that your herb potatoes didnt compare. I bought some today and they did. As for that Ts having the vodka, it doesn't surprise me.....I think they also removed the ogio on the last wine glitch. I asked a bloke filling the shelves if they had it, he said yes he'd seen it and went to get me some. He came back and said the supervisor had said that they couldn't sell it

Did you get any of the cheap Easter stuff?

Didn't see any Easter stuff ,was it food, cakes, also the Bombays not comparing had 19 items ,I think a call to h/o worth a try.
I also asked pre Easter about the £4kg lamb again told it had been taken off.

Toe Clips. You want the old fashioned one that dont require silly shoes. Put some stabilisers on it and he will be away! Dont just put on the toe clips though, otherwise his foot may get stuck in the pedal so when he stops he will fall over.

thanks David I will have a look. By co-ordination I mean he would struggle to move his legs in the correct rhythm to turn the pedals. It's a very hard thing to explain in plain words :o but any suggestions and ideas are very welcome Thank you :A
