    afternoon people

hey, MMW how you doing these days, long time no see. I hope your toes are doing ok, no more problems for you
    Always a nervous moment :D

Luckily for me, though my badass 4WD is now 17 and is starting to need new parts, my local garage lads are truly excellent and just charge me for labour if I get the bits.

Eg exhaust changed for £15, new alternator £25, new starter motor £25.

And it's worth finding out about your car from the forums that specialise in your make as they can direct you to cheap parts.

    Bangernomics at its best

My local garage is good to me, they are a small independant place that my dad used to use. Can't fault them and since dad died the boss always rings me to go get my coolant checked and topped up if needed, all for free :j
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

Afternoon All, hope everyone had a good Easter.
Was my Mum's birthday yesterday 83 and she wanted a family meal in her own house.. All family out of town - so I was very busy, but she really enjoyed it.

Did someone say the tinned tomato offer had finished at Tosco ?
Shame if it has, I was doing quite well;) with those vouchers and have stocked up on coupons, such a shame, if I can't use them.

Don't need vodka, but seems too good to miss - now shall I /shall I not ?

Just ordered a few *cough* bottle of voddy from Tecsos, thinking if I paid for them, they would have to just charge me that price when they delivered tomorrow. Now I notice it is a GUIDE PRICE :eek::eek:

I'd hold on to the vouchers which are dated till June and not throw them away just yet, because the price of those tomatoes in T's tend to go up and down quicker than a tart's drawers. We may be able to hit them again!

you can refuse the order if they charge full price on the day. You can cancel up until quite late at night as well if the price does change. But if it's still scanning at £6.90 it should go through ok. Are you having it delivered tomorrow?
