    Need some advice.

Until recently I didn't freeze anything that I didn't buy frozen from a supermarket. It was an MSE step for me to freeze fresh stuff!

I've made a newbie mistake however and have kept some lovely 'Butchers Choice - Extra Lean Mince' over a month.

It's dated BB 13th Feb so it's coming up to the 2 months and was frozen on date of purchase.

Do I throw it out or are the guidelines ridiculous?

My mum says keep for up to 3 months, but she isn't always the best to talk to about this sort of thing..!

    Help appreciated!

    It will be fine:)

    Morning

Can I just say, I'm still fairly new to this thread as far as the non-bargain side of conversations goes. But it's clear to see the huge amount of comfort offered and received on this thread and I would like to say a massive thank you to all who take the time to show consideration for others. In this day and age, virtual friends are just as important as any other kind - and often easier to talk to. I hope all those in need find some comfort in knowing how many people truly care about them.

    Welcome pacifica9 :)

When I was in T earlier I noticed that the seasonal aisle was almost devoid of eggs but those left were all at half price. The aisle was being restocked with baby stuff...didn't know that babies were seasonal:rotfl:
