Im sorry if theres already something about these somewhere but I cant find them.
Is there a simple explanantion of how the app for these sites work?
Ive managed to find on Quidco how many shops there are locally that you can go to and 'check in' but the map only shows a trolley or whatever not the name of the shops although there are 50 apparently withing 5 miles of me.
Then when we go in the shop ie we are going to Homebase on Monday' do I log in to quidco and it automatically logs youve been there or do you have to do something else.
I just cant find the how to use this on Quidco or TCB and need as much explanation in easy language as possible please or a link to a guide for dummies like me.

Hi,
To view the retailer on the app, simply click on the trolley logo. Alternatively you can click on the distance tab that provides you with a list of the retailers organised by vicinity.
When you visit one of the retailers simply click on the one that you are in and hit check in. Once approved this cashback will be added to your activity. The best thing about using the mobile app is that any money made from check ins does not go towards your annual fee, so the money is all yours!
If you have any further questions please get back in touch.

I use the quidco app. I rarely use the map, and just use the text list. Rather than using 'nearby' I tend to use 'My Quidco' at the bottom then 'Check in deals' at the top, since filters out the list to show only checkins - the nearby list shows all nearby stores with offers.
Because you need both GPS (location) and GPRS (network) connections active at the time you check in, generally you can't checkin while actually in the shop. And quite often, even if you are stood right outside the shop, it claims you are too far away. Sometimes it's a bit of a treasure hunt to find where quidco thinks the store is actually located.0 -
I have found it very annoying to use - standing in front of the shop, inside the shop, walking to the back of the shop - lose connection, walk to the front, still not in store, it drives me crazy. I use Quidco for purchases but frankly until this technology improves they can keep the 10p for 'checking in'!0

I found you need to be within 300 feet of the store (to the GPS location on the phone), if your by the front and can't get within the magic figure report it.
Inside Shopping centres sometimes messes up and having an app which crashes if you try to update location gets annoying.
If your in town for shopping already and have the time, its a good way to make a little extra. Watch out for the sharing bonus if you share on Twitter.0 -

That sounds more like a GPS/network problem than a problem with the app! What will your verse be?
