Hello

I am worried our debt keeps increasing with living costs, I have taken a pay cut at work, we are surviving at the moment. Our mortgage is a base line tracker and worried it might go up, credit cards there are 3 with about £13'000 on we have moved debt around to interest free cards, we have a loan with £3'000 left on it. Although we have never missed any payments money is getting tighter, and more worrying. What can we do?

At the top of this page there's a link, called The Budget Planner: Free advanced tool & guide to managing your money

Click on that to do a SOA ("statement of affairs")try to do it as accurately as possible so have paperwork to hand whilst you do it , and then add it to this thread, and then the friendly helpful people on here can see if anything can be done cheaper.

But starting from right now, each time you're considering a purchase get into the habit of asking yourself "do I want it or do I need it?"
