Goodbye and goodluck

I made a post yesterday about the illegality of hiding assets from the OR and provided a link to a press relaease from the Department for Business re one lady who got into serious trouble for doing so.

I don't see why I should bother trying to be helpful if such posts are deleted. Goodbye.

Sorry to see you go, I didn't always agree with you, but you gave an informed opinion and genuinely wanted to help. In reality you probably quoted one of my posts, so they had to remove yours as well, so I wouldn't get too hung up on this.

Yes, I think that is probably why it happened.

Mouse, please have a re think and come back. Whilst I think in this case simply locking the thread (it had run its course, it had all been said) would have been best, someone with no doubt good intentions decided otherwise.

Don't let that make you leave as the removal of your post was nothing to do with what you said.

Well, I think this board will lose a vital asset if you go.

I, too, have had posts deleted...not for anything I've probably said myself, but simply because blocks of posts can disappear from time to time.

    Does it really matter?

I think what is more important about contributing to this particular forum , must be the amount of support, advice, and attempts to defeat the urban myths that plague our lives so much, that folk like you, and others, provide in these troubled times?

Even those who proffer support and advice based upon personal experience, also learn much from others.

But I know only too well [from another forum where I sometimes proffer advice based upon professional experience]...it is oh-so-easy to simply let others go away and stew in their own juices.

This particular forum is going to become vitally important as an aid to help those of us bumping along the bottom of the economic pond, given the very blatant effort of this government, and society as a whole [the 'haves?']....to disenfranchise the 'poorer' elements.

It is folk like you, Mr Mouse, who help in the fight to prevent vested interests, getting-away-with-it.

    Very well said Alastair.

Mr Mouse of this parish please don't leave us, it would be a great loss for the board if you do. Maybe take a break and come back refreshed.

I can't really add anymore that hasn't been said by DD, Alastair and TF. But I wanted to add my support, do have a break Mouse as we all have to do from time to time on here and come back as TF says refreshed

I agree. Mouse you have always given good honest legal advice here on the board and it would be sad if people were to lose such posters. Do stay.

(I'm sure your post was only removed because it had to go as either it contained a quote or made other posts senseless, and it was absolutely right that any posts encouraging people to break the law were removed which might have meant other posts were affected to keep the thread making sense)

Gosh, if I were to quit as a result of one of my (many) post deletions through the Years, I would not have made it passed being a newbie.
