It's been free for quite some time. Many older books are once they are out of copyright. Pretty much anything by Hugo, Dickens, Verne etc etc can be found on Kindle for free at any time.

Right hand side it should say download to whatever you have named your kindle.
For example mine says 'download to Sarah's kindle'
