Edinvestor, I find all this talk about with profits endowment policies rather confusing, as the OP ask's about a SL unit linked policy.
Yes, but as I commented much higher up:It is however a bit surprising that you have only now received a red alert letter: most unit linked policies suffered badly in 2001- 03, but are now recovering along with the stockmarket.
The OP hasn't been back to the thread yet.I wonder if s/he has made an error or perhaps has a 50/50 unitised WP/balanced managed fund endowment. Continuing downhill performance suggests there must be some WP in there somewhere.Trying to keep it simple...
