Can companies see if you have a savings account and how much is in it ?

    Generally they can see an account but do not see how much it has in it if in credit.

    If an account has an overdraft, then they can see the balance.

    Ok thanks time to get rid of overdraft off my current account i think.
    I am trying so hard to keep my balance up as it is with my mortgage lender and would love a better deal.

    Is this through the credit report or some other means? I have an eSaver and two ISAs (one opened in error; never deposited into it) and none of these show on my credit report.

    Not so certain an ISA would show.

    ISAs: June 2011

    Must have forgotten to open a new one last year and it now has 0% interest, oops! Balance has been low so there wouldn't have been much interest to speak of anyway so I'm not too bothered.
