I'm currently at the stage where everyone's desperately trying to work out what they'll wear.

Glad I have a wedding dress sorted and don't have to worry about that!

It's just really interesting.

I got told today I'm in 'wedding denial' because I'm all planned, excited and not remotely stressed.......... errrr that's me in general.

It is funny though seeing everyone else turn green at things I don't bat an eyelid too.

I do feel the same. Our wedding has been easy to plan, totally stress-free and is going to be 'just another day' albeit one with a big party and with all my friends and loved ones together.

Still, you hear from everyone that planning a wedding is difficult and stressful - I'm wondering what I'm missing!

Seriously though, I'm the same, except for the part where people around me are getting stressed. I am excited and happy and have not been stressed or had one single bridezilla moment. But no one around me is stressed either and certainly no one is telling me I should be more stressed!

Aw daisieGg I didn't mean it that way.

I meant I'm genuinely fascinated by how people are, watching someone spend hours trying to find a local florist so I can have real flowers instead of my wonderful homemade ones beacuse foam are 'just not done'. Or acting in horror at a friend who is describing her cream dress she is going to wear.

I just look as an outsider and find it fascinating how people are, its like watching a film.

We got married 2 weeks ago and I was made to feel abnormal for being 'too' relaxed about things. It was only stressful because other people were making it stressful - not replying to RSVPs, voicing their opinions on everything - from having 'must haves' to the shock of not having a hen party or walking down the aisle together.

How long until your wedding 74jax? I was quite calm until a few weeks before and then people were stressing me out. I was very close to having a tantrum if one more person told me what I should or should not do! Poor DH bore the brunt of my ranting/tears instead.

Couple of months but everything is planned, I was off ill for 6 months so that's what occupied me ha ha.

Sounds like you are pretty much sorted then! Weddings seem to bring out the worst in some people.
