i finished on 70th, yes good luck and thanks everyone my car has died so this would be a very handy win right now

Just a simple calculation:-
Say for example all special bonus cars totalled 1,000,000 points.
That would mean that for a player to get each extra 1,000,000 points they would have to collect 14 x 500 point cars per hour for 10 hours a day playing all 14 days of the competition.
So those that got 7,000,000 points would have had to have got at least 85 x 500 point cars each hour for 10 hours a day every one of those 14 days.

I got all portals and played most days for a little while and still only managed less than 500,000.

How will Citroen wing it when one of the ones that didn't play within the rules win?

I think most (granted not all) of the people with c.7,000,000 did play within the rules. I got 4.5 mil and that was with a 4 day break I took in the middle. I did however spend pretty much all day/night on it the other days. I know lots of the people in the top 10, me included, didn't play it via the mobile app so couldn't have cheated anyway. In places like Coventry you could around 10 x 500 pointers in 5 minutes, so you wouldn't necessarily have to play 10 hours a day although I know a lot of people who did 10hrs+

If I remember correctly, last game it took citroen almost two days to post a facebook status congratulating the person in first place and also those in 2nd and 3rd. The winner of the draw was then announced a few days after that. People were a lot more eager this game though so they might do it quicker this time round

Ill keep checking, my car has died the front differential has gone on my car so i really need to win this more than anything as i dont have £4000 to pay out to get mine repaired x
