Gas Boiler Repairs-Belfast

Just wondering if anyone out there would recommend a reasonably priced gas boiler installer to repair an Ideal gas boiler?
Or if any of you MSE's out there have any knowledge about gas boilers!

In recent weeks it has been playing up in that it seems to have trouble igniting. The pressure had dropped very low so i raised this back up to about 2 (which someone showed me how to do!) . Now when i switch it on it sounds like its trying to fire up then cuts out and after a few seconds tries again. Eventally so far it does get started , but stops and starts all evening. When it does run for a while the pressure then rises up quite high to 3/3.5. Whe i turn it off at night i still hear it trying to stop/start. And ive noticed recently rustly water coming out of the pipe outside.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Or if you can recommend anyone you have dealt with that doesn't charge a massive call-out charge etc.

When did you last get the boiler serviced?
And can you get your normal service guy to look at it?
He could be your best bet as he should know the boiler well.
I get North Down Boilers for mine, but he might not be handy to you.

Please make sure you use only an engineer on the gassafe register - a gas boiler is a potential explosive device and it should be looked at as quickly as you can - here is the website to use to find gas safe engineers in your local area - ring round a few and see what they can offer
