Im with droider on this, if i promised to go back to someone the following day with an update...if there is nothing to update with then you still go back to the client and say nothing has happened yet, apologise and agree another time/day to come back to them.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Sorry, advisers work in reality and far too often client's expectations are.....................just that.
Don't want to ruin your Easter week-end but a Newbuy application with a bankruptcy in background is not the best of positions.
I am more than well aware of that. Thanks for your concern .0 -

ACG to prevent spending all day on the phone, surely best to have a policy of updating client when something has actually happened?
As time is finite and if you need to inform clients of "no progess" this can be done by setting up text and e mail links which go out everyday and are only amended by a processing update.
Then again, we are all different in our ways.0 -
If someone told me they will come back to me when they hear something, my first question would be "do you have an idea of when that will be?".
So i give my clients a timescale, in that timescale i have added a bit of extra time in case im busy or havnt heard back.
You cant just leave people hanging on with how long is a piece of string, theyre going to spend more time chasing me up as they dont know how long to wait.
Sometimes it will be an email, sometimes a text and sometimes a call - it depends on the client and the situation.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
