How safe is Just Reirement?

I am nearing 65 and considering using Just Retirement for my pension provider. I have a relatively small annuity to invest but I am aware that this company is fairly new. Do I have any safeguards for my continuing pension if the company becomes insolvent? Obviously this question also refers to all potential pension providers.

Have you checked them out on the FSA web site?

Just Retirement don't deal with the public direct - which interemediary suggested them? Is the inetrmediary tied or independent?

Your IFA will answer all these questions. One assumes you are using an IFA and that Just Retirement have come out top. After all you dont just pick an annuity provider without making sure it meets you needs, and offers the best terms after haggle.

FSCS insurance protection applies to annuities.

The website looks a mess in Chrome. Maybe IFAs all use Internet Explorer ;)

Many of the providers still force us to use IE on their sites.

Prudential are the worst for browser compatibility!

But, back to the topic - Just Retirement are as good as anyone else in terms of security of your income.
