As I was preparing for BR in 2008/9 one creditor managed to get a CCJ in but this was included in my Bankruptcy. It is showing as "Active" on my credit file - was exactly does this mean? Can I have it corrected to show as satisfied as with other debts or even removed?
Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer advice

From http://www.becomingbankrupt.co.uk/if-i-declared-myself-bankrupt-would-include-any-ccjs.htmlA bankruptcy applies to all of your debts, and so a CCJ would indeed be included. There are however, a number of caveats to this. In the first instance, Creditors are under no obligation to mark outstanding CCJs as 'settled' on your credit rating, even after your bankruptcy has been discharged, unless the debt was paid in the intervening time. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
