Regarding competitions, I only enter competitions where its the price of a stamp or a cheap phone call - never, where the phone-line charges are high - I have recently entered a lot of local newspaper competitions, and the magazines you pick up on railway journeys, where the uptake is fairly low, I suspect, unlike "Take a Break Magazine", for instance, where the entrances must run into countless 1,000's -
This year alone I have won 2 tix for the Ideal Home Exhibition worth nearly £25, 2 tix for the Vitality Show at Olympia worth £30, a couple of books, a bluetooth mobile phone accessory, a meal worth £400 (yes!), and a few samples of various products - nothing major, but encouraging!
