Dobbies Easter Egg Glitch

Dobbies Garden Centre, in Milton Keynes, have a promotion on with 25% off "selected" eggs which seems to be working in conjunction with some of their other special offers.
Thorntons Classic Collection Egg (242g) are marked as £5.99 each or 2 for £8.00 - the 25% is coming off the original price, so they are going through the till at £5 for 2 of them.
Thorntons Charlie Chicks 250g were £8, now £4, but going through as £2 each.
There were loads of other eggs, not just Thorntons, but I got all I needed, so didn't try any other types.
