Can you freeze clotted cream?

Hi,

I'm doing a proper afternoon tea with sarnies, cakes and scones with clotted cream. I bought three tubs of clotted cream, I'm sure these pots are getting smaller! It was 3 for the price of 2. I don't want to appear a cheapskate so need 2 pots of cream, can I freeze the third one or will I just have to eat it all?

Please let me know if freezing is an option, thank you.

I have just used some that i brought 3 months ago as a YS ..it was 15p so didnt mind it going to waste....Can confirm it froze well

Yes, I always have a carton in the freezer, in case of a cream tea emergency......
Sometimes it gets a few ice crystals, but a good stir sorts that out.

You should come down here, you can have clotted cream on clotted cream on clotted cream flavoured crackers.
You can buy clotted cream biscuits, clotted cream tea towels with pictures off clotted cream on, clotted cream toffees, clotted cream coffee's, clotted cream ice cream. Clotted cream and cheese on chips.
You can have it ALL !
