Printed wrong part of ticket

"Its worth pointing out to you that the ticket was delivered electronically so that covers the e-ticket part of it BUT a clause of said ticket states that it MUST be oriented out on A4 paper for it to be VALID. That couldn't be clearer in their t&CD. "
Sorry, but I don't understand why you say the second part of this. The T&C quoted earlier do not connect VALIDITY with printing the ticket - other than to say 'must be printed'. Validity is only linked to ID, in the next clause, and they did produce this.
But thanks anyway for your advice. I think I get the gist of it all now, but think I do have a bit more sympathy for the e-generation!0 -
I think it's worth writing to the TOC in the hope of a goodwill gesture. There's nothing to be gained by claiming to be in the right or by assusing their staff of being "rather rude".
Best to apologise for a genuine mistake and see if there's any prospect of getting the charge that was paid for the new tickets reduced, even if you just get some vouchers back. Can I help?0
