    I'm glad to see I'm not the only one that was grounded today. I've been at work since lunchtime but just couldn't get motivated to do anything this morning. Dd (4yo) was poorly last night and finally went to sleep at 2.15am then ds (2yo) woke me at 5.30am to tell me he needed a wee! I even asked if he could manage by himself but he said he needed help so I rolled out of bed.
    I just need to stay awake long enough to watch CSI as there's supposed to be more info on the Gil/Sara relationship in tonights episode....... what can I say, I'm a CSI addict!

    Shirlepark well done on the flying at work. I've started trying to work out a way of applying flying to my work ready for when I return in September.
    Still feeling a bit low, DH is away tonight but will be back tomorrow. Crossing off my list has made me feel a bit better, I have done more than I thought. :D DD and DS are fast asleep, I can't decide whether to try and do a bit more or have a soak in the bath.
    Bath wins.
    Will keep flying tomorrow.

    Not much flying done at home today, spent most of the day at the bungalow that we hope to move into at some point - please, keeping everything crossed. I spent 4 hours cleaning the kitchen cabinets, dismantled the extractor hood (soaked in bath with bio- powder) Wow! it is now white. Have changed the filter in it too. Have cleaned the window, and scrubbed the tiles. My wrists are killing me! but it looks so much better. I even started giving the walls a new coat of paint. Think the spot light fitting in there will need to be replaced, gave it a really good scrub with neat stardrops and still remained a greasey yellow colour - yuck.

    sorry to wander from flying a bit but what is it that makes me sit for anything up to three hours and watch CSI or NCIS? Probably the lack of other tv for the little grey cells :)
    Did terrible on my flying today, thought up a reallly cool way to print off from lil_me's list and add other bits to it and stick it on the wall. That's my problem, too busy making lists that looks A1 to actually do anything on them, nevermind tomorrow is another day ... and i have a lovely printed list of tasks with a little picture of a house on it! How sad am I?
    byee for today

    Hello all - hope you're all having a fab week.

    Sorry haven't had time to read all posts - will need to catch up tomorrow - as I've just got internet access back. Will be gone again by the weekend for a week. So I'm getting stuck in from tomorrow to Friday. Have only done minimal for the last two days. Sigh...

    Anyway, onwards and upwards.

    "See" you all tomorrow for (hopefully!) a productive day

    Seems like some have been busy flying, and some busy doing other things . . . that's the way of life!

    I've decided that I can't really follow the set lists - so I'll work each day on my own ones. Coming in here does keep me motivated, so I'm not going away!!

    What I have done today
    :
    Walked puppy;
    Made train and accommodation bookings for end of August;
    Talked to man whose business we are thinking of buying, clarifying his accounts sheet;
    Made appointment with accountant.

    Spent an hour in the kitchen:
    • Wiped down bench
    • Wiped down cupboard fronts (had spag bol splashed all over them)
    • Took everything off top of fridge, trashed some stuff, reorganised other stuff, have everything left in a nice cane basket
    • Put another cane container on the bench for bananas, tissues, cell phones, mail that needs dealing with, etc.
    • Wiped windowsill
    • Wiped in and out of microwave.
    Rest of the house:
    • Dusted
    • Boogied in each room (huge bag of 'stuff' in the rubbish)
    • General straighten and tidy of each room
    • Changed boys beds
    • Wiped all windowsills
    • Wiped dining table
    • Vacuumed living areas
    • General tidy and reorganise of office
    I feel really good after all that. We had parent teacher meetings this afternoon, and they went pretty well, too.

    I'm working tomorrow so will make sure laundry gets done, and will hopefully get rest of house vacuumed. :)

    Me neither :p Morning all

    Wednesday is my "irregular odd job extra" day that don't fit into the other days ...

    It was going to be clean the outside of the downstairs windows but I ain't doing that in the rain so changed it to the cupboard in the kitchen where I keep the washing powder and spare cleaning stuff - needs sorting and cleaning!!!

    Oh, and the ironing is a regular Wednesday task.

    Have already made inroads on my dailies as well as find OH's coin purse at 7.05am which for some insane reason I found - eventually - he had put in his jeans pocket last night ( which he never does) and had me running up and down our drive (long) and the shingle parking bit etc etc looking for the d*mn thing while he drove up the M40 wittering at me on the phone. :mad:

    More books on the agenda too as well as trip to PO so had better get on.

    Hugs to those who want or need them and pats on the back for those who do SO much!!!

    :hello:
