Hi
My oh and myself love Branstons pickle. However, I would like to try make some myself. Has anyone got an easy recipe?0 -
Hi Christina,
There's an earlier thread that may help so I've added your post to it to keep the recipes together.

Have made loads of different chutneys but nothing has ever come out anything like Branston.....which is just as well for me, as I'm not that keen on it. I suppose if I were to try & make it, I'd look at the ingredients on the label to see what they actually put in it, then use a home-made chutney recipe to give me an idea of quantities and just cook it all up & see if it works. You could end up inventing something fantastic...... or at least interesting!2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!0
