some hairdressing questions..

Hi,
Can anybody recommend a styling gel that won't leave my hair looking greasy? I've just had to bin my old trusty Trevor Sorbie that I've been using for ages. I think they might have changed the ingredients in it, it used to be ok, but now it makes my hair look like I haven't washed it! I don't use straighteners, I just wear it curly and I like to scrunch some cream or spray into the ends of it to emphasise the curls.

If I can tag another question on, I wondered what people's experiences of Toni & Guy were like, as I'm due a hair cut, I need it re-styled, really, as it's looking awful at the moment, and I was wondering if they're worth the money. The branch near me charge from £40, so not cheap. Has anyone been to a Toni & Guy
(or is there a better option)

Boots Essentials extra firm gel is good for curls, non greasy and very MSE. Part of the result will be down to the conditioner you use underneath, and the combination with conditioner and gel.

I think you pay for Toni and Guys overhead more than the actual hair cut.( Unless of course you dont mind.)
I struggled to find a hairdresser where i moved to until I saw a woman who had her hair done just how I wanted mine so I asked her where she went, I went and had the best hair cut in my new area.
Recommend hairdressers are the best!!
