She has one distinguishing feature in that she has a distinctive "black flash" in her eye, where her pupil runs into her iris.

i think this is a very useful post, but I can't see that it's a freebie.

some people are getting very upset about what's happened to this girl, and may be a bit shoked to see her pictures in a freebies forum.

no disrespect at all Jammygal, I know you are doing a good thing - I'm just worried this may upset some folks not expecting to see something as "real world" as this here.

Sorry no offence meant...............I'm only helping to bring awareness to this cause.........which is also being highlighted on ebay as well as many other sites.
I put it in freebies as this is the most popular part of the forum.

Hard hitting....... you see these pictures on the news.... but seeing them on my PC it was like looking at a picture of my daughter.........

I think any more awarness is great........

Very good idea posting it here - the more people that see it the better.

Not many people will be aware that you actually can download the poster, and given that it is coming into "holiday time" it's as good a time as any to encourage people to download it and display it when they go abroad.

This is not an appropriate place for this.Its got nothing to do with whether its technically a freebie ,or whether anyones shocked-its a tastless place to put it-though I appreciate OP acted with a good heart

I think its a great idea, I understand the queries as to whether its technically a freebie or not but it isn't going to hurt anyone by putting it here. Hopefully this poor little girl will be reunited with her family, witnesses are essential in finding missing people.
Sadly I'm not going anywhere that I can put this poster up or have any friends that are at the moment. But i'll pass this on to all in my email address book.
Is there a copy of this in the arms ?

I personally don't think putting the poster up anywhere in the UK or anywhere remotely touristy is going to help. The poor little thing is obviously somewhere away from all eyes. I understand it's important to highlight her cause but I'm personally finding it all a bit distasteful (a few of my MSN messenger contacts have changed their pic to her which is just not on, IMO).

I understand it's all in the best possible intentions and we'd all love to feel we are helping but jumping on the tabloid pleas to 'find maddie' won't make the police work any harder.
