Mens Bike

Hi I'm my son 21ys old is looking for a bike to ride to Uni and back to his halls of residence.

We are not sure what we need to look for. He wants one with suspension!! and someone mentioned alloy ?

Can someone please help.

    How much is budget? As if he wants FULL suspension (i.e front and back) then there is no point unless he has lots of money :)

    Better off with a 'hard tail' front suspension only bike.

    But budget would be good to know :)

    He is a students so he would like to spend as less as possible. Max £170 ?

    I don't think £69.99 in Woolies is lots of money for a full suspension bike

    I havent had time to read through the full thread but maybe something in there. I spend a while reviewing the threads and i remember every now and again sub £200 bikes were mentioned. May take some finding though!

    Reason being is not the expense but the ride will be pointless. You will spend more time bobbing up and down wasting energy that actually getting anywhere ;)
