Harry Potter Studio Tour - Any discounts?

Hi,

Does any wonderful person out there know a way to do the Harry Potter Studio tour in Watford for less than £85 per family? Seems an extortionate amount of money........

Have searched all over the internet and can't find anything.......

The place is very popular , and still not a year old . Discounts will come , but no in the foreseeable future.

I agree that it seems extortionate. I haven't been myself yet but everyone I know who has thinks its fantastic and worth every penny.

Compared to Alton Towers etc , it is good value , very little queuing, nearly all inside and genuine props.

There have been no discounts since it opened. It is popular and they only sell a limited amount of tickets each day so it is not overcrowded, so they haven't needed to offer discounts.

We really enjoyed it when we went and everyone I know who has been said the same, but it is not cheap as it takes 2-3 hours to do the tour. As the place is not crowded you do get to see everything close up and take lots of photos. I never realised that so many of the things in the film were not cgi type effects, but actual props. Avoid the gift shop though as it is very expensive.

I tried to get tickets for our 2wk Easter school holidays. There was barely anything left and that was weeks beforehand.
