Feeling completely and utterly sorry for myself today and stuffing my face with chocolate! Been single for nearly two years and after a shove from friends to 'get out there' I met a guy last week whos lovely and started chatting. For the last week he's been very keen, calling and texting and has no issue with my two LOs. Last night he asked me on a date, I accepted but warned that I wouldn't be able to go for the next 3 weeks as I have students/babysitter issues(but put in a non scary way!) didn't hear from him for hours and then I got the text which reminded me why I've not tried to date...'seems things are tricky for you. I really like you but I want straight forward, I'm not sure you can give me that.'

:( I've met a couple guys who all say this, never got to a first date yet! But this one I liked....*takes another MASSIVE bite of chocolate!*

Bless your heart obviously not the one. Maybe the next frog will turn into a prince. Until then enjoy the chocolate and chin up.

  • Trying really hard at this challenge, but not doing too good! Got about £3.50 on inbox pounds found £6.71 in an old account, and made £4 profit on eBay! Going to up my game from now on. Just a quick story to share; a friend of mine decided to look for 'lost money' and found some old bank details. He went into bank and asked if anything in this account and was told no money and left. Next day he received a phone call from the bank saying the computers had been down and there was £23,000 in his account left from the sale of a previous house! Amazing!

    Aw big hugs mrs xxxxxxx

If you really like him it might be worth saying something like "i like straightforward too, i'm just busy for a few weeks thats all. If you want to go out then give me a shout". If you have had the same response from a few guys it might be worth looking at what it is you are saying - you might be trying to explain too much ;)

I did fairy...nothing. We were chatting for a few weeks so he already knew I hosted them and had kids. It wasn't until he started firing dates to go out I had to decline. Well, sorry but I'm not cancelling Beyonce for anyone next week! :D there will be others I know, just I would rather not be a lonely single mother for the majority of my 20s!
