    hi all

Slow wouldn't be the operative word to describe my progress this month.

Dire another word. Need to get listing but what I have listed is not selling.

Got to get myself into gear and get some money in.

All the best to you all.

Can someone please kindly explain to me how this works to make money. I have tried to look through, did not understand it. Please help.

    Thanks

Hi Ajay and welcome. have you read the first post an don't understand what to do?

the challenge is to try and make ten pound every day. there are many different ways to do this.the first post has suggestions on how you can achieve the ten pound a day.

this ten pound is extra money rather than your usual money from your main job.

so, some of the ways you can make extra money is joining survey sites like pinecone who pay £3 a survey. other sites pay less but have more frequent surveys. you can cash out with some sites at £4 others ten pound. the aim with survey sites is to make enough to help you reach your daily target.

other things are selling on ebay, facebook, gumtree and other selli g sites. you may have old mobile phones that youno longer use,ink cartridges, old clothes.

most things are resellable even broken things are wanted by people for spare pArts by people.

do you understand now? we all try to find ways to make our target daily ie some of us are only on £5 or less a day as we find it too hard to make ten pound.we post to show how we have made our money as it gives others ideas on how to do the same.

sell things you no longer need want
buy things to sell for a profit
    make things to sell
have an ebay shop/sell on ebay/carboot sales
    become a mystery shopper
    get a second job
    take part in surveys/focusgroups
join things like fiver where you offer a service and get paid £5 for example I will write your cv
offer to walk peoples dogs in return for payment
wash someones car for payment etc

legally there is a lot you can do to make extra money

Well I'm in a bit of a grump so I thought I'd pop in to cheer myself up. Everyone is doing so well, keep it up!

I had such an amazing weekend, it was lovely. I went food shopping on my way home on Friday night so didn't have that looming on Saturday. We went into town and tidied the house, put some things on eBay and enjoyed the sunshine. Then Sunday would have been my Mum's birthday. I don't think MSE was around when my Mum was, but she would have made this thread proud. Remember those free DVDs that came in newspapers? She got them for free from work and sold them on eBay for £2.75 each AND postage! Back in the day where you could only withdraw from Paypal for free when you had £50 or more and she was withdrawing daily. Anyway, on Sunday we got up and went to two bootsales as buyers. The sun was shining and I got some good eBay things - a few 50p items of clothes, but then 5 Laura Ashley wallpapers for £2 the lot (going on eBay for £15 each!) and then I saw Lego. I managed to get them down to £10 for 2.8kg...500g sells for £10! So I'm thrilled with my finds. We then had a lovely BBQ with my Dad, so I just felt all lovely and smiley.

I've got 77 items on eBay - still got two boxes to list but I was so tired come Sunday evening that I managed just a few things.

Just had a guy complain now that the cellophane on a couple of his games was ripped and he wants a £10 refund. I sold £80 worth of new games for £35 so I've told him to just return them to me as I'm NOT partially refunding him. I know he will make a killing selling them on.

Not much else to report - no new sales yet but lots of bids.
